Who can become an Ambassador?
We’re looking for engaged, passionate Semrush users—marketers, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals who love our platform and want to share their expertise with the world.
Do I need to be a paying Semrush user?
To be able to advocate for Semrush and share your core knowledge, we ask that you are a paying user or have access to a paid Semrush account.
Do I need a large following to become an Ambassador?
Nope! While a large following can be helpful, it’s not a requirement. What matters most is your engagement, enthusiasm, and willingness to share your knowledge across your social platform of choice. We value authenticity and enthusiasm over numbers. Whether you have 10 or 50,000 followers, your voice matters.
What is the time commitment?
We know you’re busy! Our goal is to make advocacy feel natural, fun, and rewarding. You can expect to share about one social post per month and engage in our exclusive Slack community. Plus, we’ll send you additional opportunities to join relevant discussions about Semrush on social media to redeem rewards. But don’t worry—we’ve got you covered! You’ll receive guidance, ready-to-use prompts, and engaging challenges to make posting effortless and meaningful.

How long is the commitment if I join?
There’s no long-term obligation. However, to keep the program meaningful, we encourage active participation. While we don’t remove Ambassadors quickly, we do review engagement annually to ensure the community stays vibrant and acts of advocacy are being completed on a monthly basis. If someone hasn’t been active for 6 months, we may reach out to check in and reassess their status in the program—because we know life happens, and sometimes, you just need a break!
When can I expect to hear back from the Semrush team after I have applied?
We review applications on a weekly basis. You should hear back from us within 7 business days. If accepted, we will send you a welcome email with onboarding details, invite you into the exclusive Slack group, introduce you to fellow Ambassadors and welcome you to a live onboarding call with your monthly cohort.
